Taking warm clothes (woolen socks and caps, sweaters, thermal underwear, warm sportswear or trekking suits, windbreakers or jackets etc.) is a must. One of the important rules of Panchakarma is to keep the body warm. If your body feels cold, toxins get denser, channels get narrower, and the whole process of detoxification stops. Taking with you warm clothes is of prime importance for those patients who come to us in April-May and September-October. You will surely need all the above mentioned warm clothes in these months, especially in the evening, at night and in the morning.
But even if you are going to come in summer (June, July, August), you should also take warm clothes with you. Maybe you won't need these clothes, but take it just in case. Mountain weather tends to change very rapidly. During the daytime under the sun it can be warm as in summer, but already after a few hours, especially if rain comes, it gets really cold. And the next day, if it is sunny, you can wear your summer dress again. Though if it has been raining for several days, even in June temperature can drop as low as in April – to +8 degrees Centigrade.
However, you should also take with you light summer clothing. The average summer temperature for fair weather here is +25-28 degrees Centigrade
